A Medigap policy provides a Medicare beneficiary supplemental insurance through a private insurance company. The policy provides coverage to help pay some of the costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover like copayments and coinsurance. Medigap policies only work with Original Medicare.
Medicare Advantage Plans (like an HMO or PPO) also called “Part C” are health plans run by Medicare-approved private insurance companies. Medicare Advantage Plans include Part A, Part B, and usually other coverage like Medicare prescription drug coverage (Part D), sometimes for an extra cost.
These plans (sometimes called “PDPs”) add drug coverage to Original Medicare, some Medicare Cost Plans, some Medicare Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS) plans, and Medicare Medical Savings Account (MSA) plans.

Have you made plans for your family after your death? Life insurance can be used for so much more than burial expenses. In the event of your death, the money paid to your beneficiary can be used to pay off a mortgage, put your children or grandchildren through college, and leave behind a legacy. Is it time to review and update your life insurance?
With the rising cost of health care, a Hospital Indemnity plan may help offset your cost in the event of a hospital stay. Most Hospital Indemnity plans will pay you directly after an inpatient hospital stay and may offer additional riders for services such as ambulance, outpatient hospitalization, and skilled nursing. Are you worried about meeting your deductible or paying a large copay? A hospital indemnity will take some of that worry away.
Long-Term Care insurance provides protection of your assets in the event of a long-term illness or disability. Some plans offer home-based care as well as care in a facility. There are many plans available that may be tailored to meet your specific needs and your budget. Long Term Care Insurance is not part of your medical plan. Are you protected in the event of a lengthy stay?
